NAUI FIT

The minimum age is 18 years old for this program. Certification as a NAUI Scuba Diver, NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver, NAUI Nitrox Diver, NAUI Master Scuba Diver, NAUI First Aid for the Diving Professional, NAUI Oxygen Provider (or equivalent) are required. Minimum 25 logged open water scuba dives with a minimum of 12.5 hours bottom time are also required. Upon completion of the NAUI FIT Program, grads who are registered with NAUI may attend a NAUI Assistant Instructor, Divemaster, or Instructor Crossover course.

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

Assistant Instructors are authorized to teach scuba diving under the supervision of a NAUI Instructor. The AI rating is a NAUI leadership-level certification. This program will introduce you to diving instruction basics and test your fundamental water skills that you will need to assist your students. Prerequisites include a minimum age of 18 by the water phase of the course, current registration as a NAUI FIT Program grad, and current certifications in NAUI First Aid and NAUI Oxygen Provider. DIVEMASTER

Divemasters lead dives and take certified divers on vacation! Does this sound like a career you would like to train for? As a NAUI Divemaster, you will enjoy the highest NAUI leadership level certification with the exception of an Instructor. Prerequisites include a minimum age of 18, current registration as a NAUI FIT Program grad, NAUI First Aid, NAUI Oxygen Provider, and a minimum of 60 open water scuba dives with a minimum of 30 hours of bottom time. Your logged dives need to be varied in depth and environment. You will also need medial approval to attend this training.

INSTRUCTOR

NAUI Instructors are authorized to teach every level of diving and can develop their own instructor specified specialty courses. Prerequisites for entering the course include the current certification as a NAUI Divemaster, a minimum of 60 logged open water scuba dives and medical approval.
